Head Trainer

My name is SIFU (see-foo) I am the owner of 5 Elements Fitness and head trainer! My passion for training comes from the simple desire to help people become mentally and physically stronger! I focus on weight loss, balance, mindset, and healthy eating habits. This combination is so important because one without the other won’t work! My sessions include full-body movement, targeting certain problem areas like belly fat, lower back pain, flabby arms, and increasing range of motion for better flexibility. It doesn’t matter your age or size I am here for you to help you reach your goals and become the best you! I have trained in Tai Chi for over 20 years and Personal training for 10. You’re in good hands!
Leroy aka Sifu Leroy
Tai Chi Instructor

Sifu Leroy Alsup has been involved in martial arts for over 40 years with over 30 years of experience in Tai Chi. he studied under the direction of Abraham Lu, a renowned Tai Chi grandmaster in the traditional Yang style Tai Chi hand and sword forms. Additional learning was completed under Yang Jun, a world-renowned grandmaster instructor, and the 5th descendant of yang style Taijiquan. Leroy has hosted Yang Jun for instructional/informational seminars to further his knowledge and studies as well as those of his students. His knowledge and understanding of the art has resulted in his reputation as an accomplished Yang-style Tai Chi teacher and his selection to judge several international tournaments. Leroy Alsup is now a direct disciple of Yang-style Tai Chi. This is one of the highest achievements you can reach in Tai Chi!

I have been training under SIFU Niko for almost 3 years now. My intention was to gain the necessary skills, a way of fighting, that is complementary to my stature. The more I learned about martial art, the more I learned about myself. Soon after, I realized the practice became second nature throughout my daily life and that Tai Chi is more than a fighting technique. I believe it's best described as Theodore Roosevelt's, "Speak softly and carry a big stick". My mind and spirit are now at a place where I can find peace in the most troubling of times, all the while training in effective ways to protect those I love.

As a mom of four, I know firsthand the physical and mental challenges that come with motherhood. That’s why I focus on both your mental and physical health — because true transformation happens when you take care of both.
I’m living proof of the principles I teach, and I want to guide you in reaching your goals too. From rebuilding core strength to losing weight, I’ll support you every step of the way. I also incorporate boxing for cardio, self-defense, and confidence — because fitness should make you feel powerful inside and out. 🥊💥
